Uppsala Blåsarsymfoniker (UBS) is one of Sweden’s leading amateur wind orchestras, known for its precision, expressive range and strong ensemble culture. Founded in 2000, the orchestra performs original works and transcriptions, and collaborates with distinguished soloists and composers. Its repertoire spans classical and contemporary music, with a focus on artistic quality and development. Markus Jonsson has been a frequent guest conductor and repetiteur since 2022 and led the orchestra to victory at the Swedish National Championships in 2023.
